Golden Sausages

Quick and easy to make; just remember to give yourself enough time to let it stew.


• 2 tablespoons flour
• 1 tablespoon black/soy sauce
• 1 desert-spoon malt vinegar
• 1 desert-spoon sugar

• A dozen sausages, skins removed
• Diced onion
• Two grated carrots


• Mix first four ingredients to a smooth paste with ½ cup cold water.
• Add 1 ½ C boiling water, pepper and salt.
• Add with sausages, onion and carrot to a casserole dish.
• Bake at 150°C/300°F for 1 ½ hours.

Served with mashed potato and peas.
